Seeking:
The Radical Buffoon(s) is Seeking dancers, movers, and physical theater performers of all ages, build, genders, abilities, and ethnicities for the upcoming production of “STORIES without WORDS” a new collaboration between Artistic Director Jon Greene and Choreographer Jarrell Hamilton to premier this October 2018. STORIES without WORDS blends theater, dance, and collaborative devising to explore wordless narratives, in a cinematic style similar to music videos. An ensemble of 5 performers will work directly with Hamilton and Greene to create a juxtaposed set of entertaining, challenging, and exciting ‘movement vignettes for the stage.’ Traditional training is not required and those with a variety of movement skills and body awareness are encouraged to audition. This project will be the inaugural presentation of The Radical Buffoons’ LAB - an initiative to cultivate and and present new and non-traditional works of theater in New Orleans. TRB seek to hire and work with a diverse group of performers of all ages, races, genders, backgrounds, and abilities.
