Their East Indian heritage led them to later formally study several classical Indian dance styles (Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi, and Kuchipudi) as well as other styles of Indian folk dances in both India and the US. In the 90’s, the twins pioneered Bollywood dance classes in Los Angeles, being the first to have taught Bollywood dance/Bollywood dance fitness classes in California. They also started performing Bollywood dance shows on stage professionally, and created the first professional Bollywood dance company in North America. Many of their dancers have appeared on So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent. Some of their clients include Tim Burton, Brad Pitt, Kevin Costner, Jennifer Aniston, the Prime minister of India, Disney, Microsoft, and Universal Studios. They have performed, choreographed, and directed on numerous national and international stages, films (US and India), television shows, music videos, and commercials including American Music Awards, Hell’s Kitchen, The View, Bollywood Film Awards, and Chris Brown's most recent music video Liquor. Based in Los Angeles, Calif, the twins are still going strong as show directors, choreographers, instructors, and performers.
