roughwrks is a salon style performance and feedback series for new works and works-in-process. organized by paris cian, in collaboration with Dancing Grounds, roughwrks serves as a creative space for local makers and creators, investigating movement based forms; roughwrks is rooted in harmonizing varied visibility + accessibility for the NOLA dance community. roughwrks will serve as a welcoming space, honoring the values and mission of Dancing Grounds. March roughwrks is part of the "In The Kitchen" series of the Dance For Social Change Festival.
