Maya's master class may include a variety of techniques including Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Improv, and choreography. The class will help guide dancers through the unique and exclusive style of Maya Taylor's choreography. Q&A to follow. Ages 12 and older.

About Maya

Maya Taylor, raised in Omaha, NE, studied at Ballet West Conservatory, The Ailey School, Jacob’s Pillow and is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA program. Shortly after receiving her degree, Maya joined Elisa Monte Dance and for several years performed throughout the United States and Europe. Her dancing has been featured in music videos for One Republic, Wolf Gang, Generationals, and Sweet Crude.

Maya began teaching and choreographing in 2010 and has been commissioned by Let's Dance International Frontiers, New Orleans Ballet Theatre, Perry Mansfield, Harvest Dance Chicago, Schramel Conservatory, Creighton University, University of Nebraska at Omaha, Regional Dance America, Omaha Performing Arts and Marigny Opera Ballet.

Current clients of her movement include Arcade Fire, St. Vincent, Solange Knowles, SZA, Netflix, and TNT.

Maya is currently based in Los Angeles, California
