'HAMILTON: An American Musical' Repertoire Class with Voltaire (Hamilton cast member) Tuesday, November 14 | 7:30-8:45pm (in place of Twerkshop) Dancing Grounds is proud to bring you a repertoire class from the hit Broadway show, Hamilton: An American Musical! Voltaire, member of the original Broadway cast, is bringing you all the original choreography he can fit into and hour and fifteen minutes. Come dance to your favorite Broadway soundtrack, get lost in the moves, and celebrate the joy of learning about this historic musical! About Voltaire: Voltaire began his dance training at the age of eleven at Civic Dance Center in Bakersfield, California. He received a full scholarship to the Rock School’s year round program where he graduated in 2004. He has had addition training at the Orange School of Performing Arts, San Francisco Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem and University of The Arts. Shortly after moving to New York he has had the pleasure of working with choreographers Andy Blankenbeuhler (Hamilton, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat) and Josh Bergasse (Smash and Bull Durham). TV: Smash. He made his Off Broadway and Broadway debut in Hamilton: an American Musical (OBC). Voltaire was a company member with The Charlottesville Ballet and Contract Dance Theater. Regional: In The Heights (WBT), Annie Get Your Gun (BMT), Some Like It Hot (BMT), A Chorus Line (BMT).
