Contemporary Choreography LAB

Schramel Conservatory of Dance l 920 Terpsichore Street
A 3-day contemporary class and choreography workshop with New Dialect's Curtis Thomas, choreographer Maya Taylor, and guest teacher, Rebecca Allen. Artists will explore improvisation, and choreographic techniques, gain feedback, create and share their work in an open and collaborative environment. The workshop is open to professional dancers, choreographers, and students interested in developing their contemporary practice and choreographic language. Participants will present their work at an informal showing on Saturday, August 19th, which will be filmed for artist's own use.
