Tamalyn recently moved to New Orleans and I am honored to be hosting her in my dance studio for an afternoon of workshops! These classes will enhance your dance journey whether you are new to the art of Bellydance or a seasoned performer. 11:30-1:30 Earth & Sky Technique Tamalyn's unique approach that spans from Asia to Africa (with the Middle East at the crossroads). Based on "Earth" (grounding,) and "Sky" (expression). There are three points of the body for each and everything flows from the inside out. 1:30-2:00 Short break... I suggest bringing a snack or you may contribute $5 and partake in yummy Live Fit wraps/smoothie's I'll have delivered. I'm also going to have fresh fruit and water available. 2:00-4:00 Roadmap Through Music Discover the richness of Middle Eastern music, its correlation with jazz, and how the music guides your dancing. 7:00-9:00 Intimate Summer Showcase! Gathering together to dance for one another is probably my favorite part of my bellydance journey. Have a new choreography you'd like to feature? Are you practicing your improv skills?
