Jefferson Performing Arts Society announces auditions for the Musical Theatre portion of the 39th Season to be held in the beautiful new Jefferson Performing Arts Center.
Friday, June 10th @ 6:30PM - 8PM Dance Auditions WOMEN ONLY
Friday, June 10th @ 8PM - 9:30PM Dance Auditions MEN ONLY
Saturday, June 11th @ 10AM - 6PM Vocal Auditions
Sunday, June 12th @ 1PM - 4PM Vocal Auditions
Sunday, June 12th @ 4PM - 6PM Any Callbacks
What Shows:
a) West Side Story - September 22 - October 2. Directed by Kenneth Beck
b) Funny Girl - November 3 - 13. Directed by Butch Caire
c) Tarzan the Musical - March 16 - 26. Director TBA This round of auditions is for ADULTS ONLY (age 17 and up at the time of audition), no exceptions. Child auditions will be announced at a later date.
ALL ROLES ARE OPEN AND COMPENSATED

All auditions are by appointment only. Dance auditions will be done in two groups, separated by gender. Vocal auditions will be done individually with 10 audition slots per hour. All dancers should arrive half an hour before their audition in proper attire. Vocalists desiring a lead role should prepare a song from the show they wish to be in. Please bring appropriate sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. All auditioning must bring 4 COPIES
of resume and head shot.
